Homes

A range of homes for different households

A mix intended to support a balanced and inclusive community

The proposals include a broad mix of homes, from smaller properties through to larger family houses. The intention is to create a balanced community that can appeal to a range of households, including younger people, families, key workers and downsizers. Careful design ensures that all of the homes maintain a low profile in relation to the landscape while making full use of the internal space. Homes with three internal floors utilise the roof space to ensure roof height match those of the two storey homes.

A policy-compliant proportion of the homes would be affordable, with a mix of tenures and sizes integrated across the site.

Affordable homes would be designed to the same external standards as the market homes and would share the same streets and public spaces.

The housing mix is still being refined through the design and pre-application process.
