A sensitive, landscape-led development providing new homes and new pedestrian/cycle connections

The emerging masterplan shows a mix of cottages, terraces, barn style

houses and larger family homes arranged along a new network of streets and lanes around farmstead-style courtyards. A connected green structure runs through the site, linking Moor Lane with orchards, meadows, open spaces and the wider countryside beyond.

The proposals currently include:

a new frontage and access from Moor Lane;
internal streets and quieter shared-surface lanes;
open spaces including a communal meadow, orchard areas, an edible garden and natural play; and

pedestrian links towards the existing Rotherwood Road byway and onward routes towards Wilmslow.
